Pharmacy care in secure settings

We provide Pharmaceutical care services in a number of prisons. We offer the full range of Pharmacy primary care services as well as helping you to develop:

•  an ‘out of hours drugs cupboard’ to avoid the need to transfer patients to hospital where possible
• mental health in-reach and Integrated Drug Treatment Services.

We aim to ensure that the standard of health care for people in secure establishments is equal to or better than health care offered in the community.

At Focus Healthcare we believe that the Pharmacy should do more than simply dispense medicines. A strong emphasis is placed on helping people maintain their own health and wellbeing, through the provision of advice and information to help offenders make their health decisions.
